The client requested a light brown fur and black coat. This costume has so many different varieties as in color, so I'm very glad the client had something in mind already. Personally I feel that the light brown works best for the character and the coat.
On the topic of fur..yeeeaaah. This was my second time working with fur(I swear I have worked with it before..just can't remember!) and well, it basically looks like you killed a polar bear. x__x For the couple of days I was working on this there was fur EVERYWHERE in my sewing room. The lint brush was my good friend.
My form is a couple sizes smaller than the client so that is why it looks loose. The coat includes two welt pockets, front style line, hood, and fur trim.
I am currently available for commissions! Check out my ad on the cosplay.com marketplace or you can always message me for more info. Thanks~!
Sure, it was about $13~ or so a yard. Though this was about a year ago so it could have changed. I'm also pretty sure I haggled it down to that when I bought it. This is a pretty average price for fur. I would say it's safe to expect to pay $10 and up for faux fur.
Thanks! And hmm, I'm not sure what the exact manufactured name for the fabric, but it's faux fur and I got it in the Los Angeles Fashion District. I hope that helps in some way. ;
